About the Role
Lead the business side of a global master data management implementation. You will act as the primary business interface across design, readiness, testing, adoption and transition to BAU, ensuring the solution is fit-for-purpose, aligned to global standards and practical for end users.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead business engagement with Global Master Data, functional SMEs, regional teams, IT and the vendor.
- Drive design input, requirements validation, workflow design, roles, approvals and reporting needs.
- Own business readiness: impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications, training input and change planning.
- Coordinate business participation in SIT, UAT and go/no-go readiness (tester identification, scenario design, defect triage and retesting).
- Manage the business view of risks, issues, dependencies and decisions; escalate through project governance.
- Partner with IT and the vendor to resolve critical usability, workflow, reconciliation, reporting and integration issues.
- Support cutover, hypercare and transition to BAU, including ownership, support pathways and continuous improvement.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, Supply Chain, Finance, IT or related field.
- 7+ years in business transformation, master data, ERP change, process governance or complex project delivery.
- Proven experience leading business readiness, stakeholder engagement, testing, cutover or adoption on enterprise implementations.
- Strong knowledge of master data processes, governance, workflow approvals, data quality and ERP integration.
- Experience with SAP environments and master data tools (MDG or similar) desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills across business, technical and vendor teams.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritise under pressure and maintain an enterprise-first mindset focused on governance, user experience and sustainable BAU outcomes.
- Change or project management certification (PROSCI, Agile, PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma) desirable.
