Precision Sourcing are partnering with a global HCM Solutions Provider as they seek a Lead Implementation Consultant to work on Australian and APAC SAP ECC PY (on-prem) Solutions.

About the role

As the SAP Payroll Lead Implementation Consultant, you’ll take ownership of the functional solution throughout the implementation lifecycle.

You’ll run requirements and blueprinting sessions, translate business needs into a workable solution and ensure the design is properly documented before working with configuration and testing teams to bring it to life.

You’ll also remain heavily involved through testing, data activities, UAT, parallel payroll runs and go-live, acting as a key point of contact for both the client and internal delivery teams.

Duties

• Lead the design and delivery of SAP ECC Payroll solutions across Australian and APAC clients
• Facilitate workshops with clients to understand their payroll processes, requirements and challenges
• Translate business requirements into detailed solution designs and functional specifications
• Work closely with configuration, testing and project teams to ensure the solution is delivered as designed
• Support data cleansing, mapping, migration and reconciliation activities where required
• Guide clients through UAT, parallel testing and go-live
• Identify and escalate project risks, scope changes and delivery issues
• Conduct quality reviews of solution designs and configuration
• Keep up to date with developments across SAP Payroll and the broader payroll technology landscape

Skills & experience

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Payroll professional who can operate confidently in a lead implementation capacity.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Multiple end-to-end SAP ECC Payroll implementations
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Australian payroll, including Awards, EBAs and associated payroll requirements
• Previous experience leading SAP Payroll implementations from design through to go-live
• Strong understanding of implementation methodologies and structured delivery practices
• Experience working across UAT, parallel payroll testing and go-live
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
• The ability to take ownership, work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with technical, functional and project teams
• Experience with SAP ERP and broader HR/Payroll systems will be highly regarded.
