A fast-growing, multi-industry Australian group and the largest provider in its space, with around 130 employees and warehouses in every state. The group is expanding internationally into Bangkok, Malaysia, Canada and Vietnam, and operates across lighting and electrical products, property development, renewable energy, AI data centres and modular construction. Its property development arm is behind the design and architecture of some of Sydney’s most prominent buildings.
The AI Strategy Analyst is a newly created, independent professional role reporting directly to the Founder & CEO. It is almost like an executive assistant or administrative position, except you will drive strategic business decisions using a range of AI tooling. The CEO provides the business ideas, strategic direction and project information. You apply the most suitable AI tools to turn those inputs into professional, decision-ready deliverables, working largely on your own initiative with ideas stemming from the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare business plans, feasibility studies and commercial proposals
- Build financial models, cash flow analyses and investment assessments
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis and business intelligence
- Produce professional PowerPoint presentations and analytical reports
- Develop project plans and implementation programs, and track progress
- Design and implement AI workflows across the group’s businesses
- Support new business development and international expansion initiatives
Essential Skills and Experience
- 4+ years’ experience in data, analytics, strategy, finance or commercial roles
- Expert, hands-on use of AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Codex etc.
- Strong financial literacy, a statistical mindset and commercial, business focussed analytical thinking
- Nice to have experience with Sharepoint, SQL, Python, and Power BI or Tableau
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to work independently
- Ability to learn and adopt new AI tools quickly to deliver commercial outcomes
- Fluent Mandarin and professional English
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen

- Background in marketing, economics, sales, finance or media
- Genuine interest in business, investment, entrepreneurship and emerging technologies
