Ride4Lives
2026
7 days, 780 kilometres,
8,500 vertical metres,
One Team - One Goal!
At Precision Sourcing, we have never been the type to sit still. When it comes to mental health, we believe action beats intention, every single time.
That is why, in support of our long-standing charity partner The Black Dog Institute, we’re proud to launch Ride4Lives 2026 – a fully supported coastal cycling challenge from Sydney to Byron Bay.
Ride4Lives
Why We Ride?
Mental illness affects millions of Australians – colleagues, friends, family members, and teammates. The work of the Black Dog Institute in research, education and suicide prevention is saving lives, but continued impact requires continued support.
At Precision Sourcing, we’ve always believed in showing up physically for causes that matter.
- Walked 110 kilometres in 24 hours from Palm Beach to Bondi Beach
- Cycled and rowed over 3,000 kilometres on stationary machines, with every kilometre representing a life lost to suicide in Australia that year
- Climbed 114,793 vertical metres in 75 hours through Climb4Lives
Now we’re riding to Byron Bay!
The Challenge
Ride4Lives is not a race.
It’s an endurance challenge built on teamwork, resilience, and a shared purpose.
Over seven days, riders will cover 780 kilometres and 8,500 metres of climbing, navigating rolling highways, coastal headlands and hinterland climbs – supporting each other every step of the way and creating an experience and connection never to be forgotten.
This challenge is about:
- Turning discomfort into conversation
- Turning effort into awareness
- Turning community into impact
Ride4Lives
Who Is This Ride For?
Ride4Lives is designed for committed riders, not elite racers.
You don’t need to be a professional cyclist, but you do need to be willing to train, work as part of a team, and ride for something bigger than yourself.
This ride is for:
- Clients, candidates and partners who make up the Precision Sourcing, Vinova and MediRec community
- Friends of Precision Sourcing, Vinova and MediRec
- Anyone passionate about mental health and a meaningful challenge
If you can train, show up, and support others – you belong with us
This challenge is about:
- Fully supported route and logistics
- Daily ride briefings and safety support
- Support vehicle, nutrition stops and mechanical assistance
- Accommodation coordination – riders will need to pay for their own accommodation and return transport back to Sydney
- Fundraising platform and community support
