Test Lead – WFM (End Client) | Melbourne | $160-170k + Super + Exceptional Benefits
Are you a seasoned Test Lead with strong Workforce Management (WFM) testing oversight experience? We’re partnering with a Melbourne-based end client embarking on a major transformation program and are looking for a confident Test Lead to hold their SI partner accountable and drive best-practice testing governance through to April/May 2027.
UKG experience is highly regarded (but not essential).
The role
This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity based in Melbourne, with just 1 day per week in the CBD office.
You’ll sit client-side, acting as the key authority across testing, ensuring quality delivery from the SI partner and maintaining robust oversight of all WFM-related testing activity.
Key responsibilities

Lead and oversee end-to-end WFM testing activities

Manage and govern SI partner deliverables – ensuring accuracy, accountability, and adherence to agreed specifications

Oversee a team of non-specialist business testers on the client side

Ensure quality reporting and traceability through Jira

Provide clear governance, structure, and challenge where required

Drive test planning, execution oversight, defect management, and stakeholder communication
This role is focused on testing oversight and governance – not system configuration.
What we’re looking for

Proven experience as a Test Lead on large enterprise programs

Strong WFM testing oversight experience (essential)

Experience working with and holding SI partners accountable

Ability to manage and guide non-technical testers

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with UKG (preferred but not mandatory)
