Your Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP SCM Solution Architect to work closely with clients to understand business requirements, design innovative SAP Supply Chain solutions, lead functional workstreams, and deliver high-quality outcomes across SAP transformation programs.
As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert functional guidance, drive solution design, support project delivery, and contribute to the growth of the SAP Supply Chain practice.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership & Solution Design
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert SAP Supply Chain functional and solution guidance.
- Gather business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and document high-quality functional specifications.
- Create and validate As-Is and To-Be process maps to support solution design and future-state business processes.
- Design scalable SAP Supply Chain solutions aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Provide solution architecture input across SAP Supply Chain initiatives and transformation programs.
Configuration, Testing & Delivery
- Perform SAP system configuration and execute unit testing to ensure solution accuracy and quality.
- Document configuration settings, functional specifications, test scripts, and supporting project artefacts.
- Execute test cases and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Lead functional workstreams, ensuring delivery quality, issue resolution, and alignment with project timelines.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of SAP solutions.
Stakeholder & Practice Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and project teams.
- Provide input to project management on planning, risks, dependencies, resource requirements, and status reporting.
- Support business development activities, including bid and proposal development.
- Contribute to capability development within the SAP functional practice through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the growth of SAP Supply Chain offerings and delivery methodologies.
Your Profile
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Supply Chain professional with strong functional leadership and solution architecture capabilities.
Required Experience & Skills
- 15+ years of SAP project experience, including a minimum of five full end-to-end SAP implementation cycles.
- Extensive experience working across SAP Supply Chain solutions.
- Deep functional expertise in SAP MM, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Proven experience in SAP Solution Architect and Functional Lead roles.
- Strong ability to independently engage, influence, and manage business stakeholder relationships.
- Solid understanding of project delivery methodologies, implementation approaches, and project lifecycle phases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading functional workstreams within complex SAP transformation programs.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with SAP SD, SAP IBP, and/or SAP EWM.
- Experience supporting bids, proposals, and pre-sales activities.
- Industry experience within FMCG, Wholesale Distribution, Retail, Energy, and/or Government sectors.
- Experience delivering SAP Supply Chain solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain transformations.
