About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Functional Consultant to manage, configure, and optimize the core procurement system. This role focuses on leveraging SAP Ariba to drive best practices in procurement, sourcing, and contract management. You will lead operational support, continuous improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements and integrations, ensuring seamless operations and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Process Optimisation: Lead end-to-end enhancements, including design, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and change management; conduct workshops to document functional needs and improve processes.
- Functional Configuration & Support: Provide technical leadership for incident resolution and updates; configure SAP Ariba for business needs; resolve Level 3 issues, mentor support teams, and design integrations with systems like SAP SuccessFactors, IBM Maximo, and Oracle ERP.
- Vendor Management & Collaboration: Maintain vendor relationships for compliance and quality; collaborate on security, governance, risk assessments, and contingency plans; participate in change advisory boards (CAB) and documentation efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years in SAP Ariba configuration, implementation, and operational support; strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Contract, and ITIL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills; SAP Ariba certifications preferred; ability to adapt to new technologies and manage complex integrations.
Location: Anywhere in Australia – travel every 6 weeks will be a requirement if working remotely.
