Our Client

Our client is a major public sector organisation undertaking a significant digital workforce transformation. As part of a large-scale reform program aimed at optimising workforce rostering and streamlining roster-to-pay processes, they are implementing a modern, automated scheduling solution to improve efficiency, support employee wellbeing, and enable smarter workforce planning across a broad and complex operational environment.

As part of this program, our client is seeking experienced Business Analysts to play a key role in requirements definition, process redesign, and the standardisation of rostering practices across a multi-site enterprise.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidates will contribute to the design and delivery of a new statewide rostering system. Working closely with both business and technical teams, you will:

  • Lead stakeholder engagement across operational teams, payroll, ICT, change, and digital services
  • Facilitate workshops and consultations to gather, clarify, and prioritise business and system requirements
  • Document “As-Is” and “To-Be” business processes and identify opportunities for automation
  • Support systems integration planning, especially across roster-to-pay workflows
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards and reporting tools aligned with business needs
  • Assist with rollout planning, transition to business-as-usual operations, and support model design
  • Work collaboratively with program leadership and change teams to ensure smooth adoption of redesigned workflows

Required Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within complex, multi-site operational environments
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage effectively across operational, payroll, and technical teams
  • Proven experience in gathering business requirements, performing gap analyses, and mapping end-to-end processes
  • A background in digital transformation or systems automation initiatives
  • Exceptional documentation, analysis, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outputs in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Experience

  • Prior experience with enterprise workforce rostering or scheduling systems
  • Understanding of roster-to-pay processes or related system integrations
  • Experience in public sector transformation or large-scale system rollouts
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Exposure to HR or workforce planning technologies
