Technical Business Analyst – API & CRM – 12 month contract

Location: Sydney (3 days per week in CBD office)

Start date: ASAP – very urgent

Rate: $850-900 + super per day

Working rights: must be based in Australia and have full working rights

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a large-scale digital transformation program delivering customer-facing technology initiatives. You’ll play a key role in shaping enterprise digital services, working across websites, customer communication platforms and integrated business systems to improve the experience for thousands of end users.

This is a long-term opportunity with an extensive project pipeline, offering the chance to work across multiple strategic initiatives within a collaborative, high-performing internal technology team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities through the planning and delivery phases of enterprise digital projects.
  • Facilitate workshops and gather functional and non-functional requirements from a broad range of business stakeholders.
  • Analyse current business processes and communication channels to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce high-quality functional requirements, process maps and supporting project documentation.
  • Work closely with Technical Leads and Development teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective technical solutions.
  • Support solution design by providing functional input and validating proposed approaches.
  • Collaborate across multiple internal teams to deliver integrated customer-facing solutions.
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement, audience mapping and business readiness activities throughout project delivery.

Required Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst delivering enterprise technology projects.
  • Strong experience working on digital transformation, customer platforms or enterprise web initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience working within CRM or customer engagement environments.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations and data flows, with the ability to work confidently alongside technical teams.
  • Experience producing high-quality functional requirements and facilitating complex stakeholder workshops.
  • Exposure to enterprise CMS or website platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Experience working across the full project lifecycle within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
