“Send me the JD” is the same as the client saying “send me the CV”
There is no connection and communication.
Just sending a JD ends in a lot more drop outs because
❌ you can’t understand someone’s drive
❌ can’t gauge how excited they are for the role
❌ can’t talk about the benefits of the company
Just sending CV’s to a client takes longer to hire the right person because
❌you can’t highlight the candidates strengths and weaknesses
❌you can’t inform the client on the timeline for each candidates
❌ you can’t provide a connection to the client and candidate
I understand that people are short with time. But taking 5 minutes to talk about a role or talk about candidates saves a LOT of time in the long run
