Climb4Lives
The 14 Peaks Challenge
75 hours. 114,793 vertical metres. Two stair climbers. One mission.
At Precision Sourcing, we have never been the type to sit still. When it comes to mental health, we believe action beats intention, every single time.
That is why, in support of our long-standing charity partner The Black Dog Institute, we are proud to launch Climb4Lives, our most ambitious physical challenge yet.
Inspired by the incredible story of Nepali mountaineer Nimsdai Purja, who climbed all 14 of the world’s 8,000 metre peaks in just 6 months, our team is setting out to match the same total elevation of114,793 metres but in just 75 hours. And we are doing it the Precision way: on stair climbers, right here in our Sydney office.

Why We Climb
Mental illness affects millions of Australians. The Black Dog Institute’s research, education, and advocacy are saving lives but they need our support.
Over the years, we’ve taken bold action to raise awareness and vital funds for this cause.
Together with our community, we have:
- Walked 110 kilometres in 24 hours from Palm Beach to Bondi Beach
- Cycled and rowed over 3,000 kilometres on stationary machines, with every kilometre representing a life lost to suicide in Australia that year
Now, we’re climbing. And we’re asking for your support once again.
Climb4Lives
When Is It Happening?
Start: 12pm, Tuesday 21st October 2025
Finish: 3pm, Friday 24th October 2025 – Followed By An After Party
Location: Precision Sourcing Office, Sydney CBD
Over those 75 hours, our stair climbers will run continuously , day and night, as individuals and teams push towards the combined total of 114,793 vertical metres.
That is the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest more than 13 times.
WANT TO CLIMB?
Get Involved
Whether you are a client, candidate, friend, or part of our wider community, we would love you to join us.
You can register your team to complete a 4 hour shift on the stair climbers. It is not about speed or fitness. It is about showing up, supporting each other, and being part of something that truly matters.
We recommend a minimum of 6 people per team, but the more the better. All we ask is that you bring:
- A positive mindset
- A willingness to move for a great cause
- And if possible, help us raise some funds - no minimum target, just genuine effort
We’ve got you! Register your interest as an individual and we’ll match you with a team.

Why It Matters
Suicide is the leading cause of death among Australians aged 15 to 44. The work done by the Black Dog Institute, and supported by events like this, is crucial in reducing that number.
