Michael Galvin
Michael has been partnering with organisations to solve business challenges and improve customer experiences since he started in the institutional banking space in 2001. He has experience working across a diverse range of industries, including hospitality, telecommunications, corporate travel technology and transaction banking. Michael has worked in Australia as well as across Asia where he was based in Bangkok, followed by two years in New Zealand before returning to Sydney.
Michael currently specialises in the retail, telecommunications, media, entertainment and health sector. Together with his product partners, he designs solutions that solve business challenges, create better customer experiences, efficiencies and time and cost savings for large organisations.
A community minded individual, Michael runs one of the largest online community groups in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for residents and businesses of postcode 2010. He also participates in regular fundraising events to raise awareness and funds for the homeless community. He will be sleeping rough for one night on the street to raise money for Rough Edges (a centre for the marginalised, disadvantaged and homeless) on 26 of October as part of the Roughtober event.
