Ivan Karajas
Ivan Karajas is a software developer with a keen interest in the bleeding edge of online application development. Coming to the software industry via the slightly unconventional route of a degree in Political Science and Philosophy, he is a big believer in Steve Jobs’ view that the best ideas emerge where the humanities and technology intersect.
While plying his trade as a .NET and JavaScript developer on a wide range of high profile projects, he has an abiding interest in the open source community for its ability to generate the ideas and technologies that shape the future of software development.
As a side project, he runs Shark Attack Data, a site that attempts to provide a user-friendly visualisation of the Shark Research Institute’s Global Shark Attack File. Its source is available on Github.
