Position Description – UKG Business Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a critical HR/payroll/WFM transformation program. This role has arisen due to an immediate vacancy and will play a key part in ensuring continuity and progress across a major implementation, currently in a pivotal “get fit” phase, as they implement UKG Pro alongside SuccessFactors and ECP.
The successful candidate will bring strong domain expertise in HR and payroll systems, alongside proven end-to-end business analysis capability across complex transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, validation, and documentation across HR/WFM/payroll processes
- Conduct process mapping (current and future state), with a strong focus on “to-be” design
- Identify and document solution gaps and support remediation planning
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across business and technical teams
- Support transition into testing phases, ensuring requirements traceability and readiness
- Produce clear, structured documentation to support delivery and governance
- Work closely with delivery leads to ensure alignment with project milestones and priorities
Project Context
- Joining during an active “get fit” exercise focused on:
- Reviewing processes
- Identifying gaps in the solution
- Preparing for upcoming testing phases
- Strong emphasis on future-state process design and documentation
- Critical role in ensuring smooth progression into end-to-end testing and deployment phases
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation programs
- Strong HR systems domain knowledge, ideally across WFM, payroll
- Experience with UKG Pro systems as a BA
- Solid core BA skillset:
- Requirements elicitation
- Stakeholder engagement
- Documentation and process mapping
- Validation and analysis
Work Arrangements
- Hybrid working model
Contract & Remuneration
- Fixed-term contract through to July next year
- Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 + superannuation & excellent benefits, including additional annual leave & salary sacrifice component . (Dependant on experience).
