HRIS System Support Manager
Location: Sydney (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week)
Salary: $140-150k + Super + Benefits
Type: Permanent
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced HRIS professional to lead and establish a newly created Tier 2 support function within a large and complex organisation.
This is a rare opportunity to join a business at the start of its journey and put your own stamp on the role. You’ll be responsible for building structure, improving service delivery, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and helping shape the future direction of people systems support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and establish the Tier 2 HRIS support model
- Manage and improve system support processes and ticket resolution
- Oversee HRIS administration, data integrity, and governance
- Identify and deliver process and system improvements
- Support system enhancements, testing, and releases
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across HR, Technology, and Shared Services
- Contribute to the longer-term HR systems roadmap
About You
- Experience managing or administering HRIS platforms within a medium to large organisation
- Strong Tier 2 support or application support experience
- Experience driving process and service improvements
- Strong understanding of HRIS administration, data management, and governance
- Confident managing stakeholders and navigating complex environments
- Dayforce experience ideally
What Success Looks Like
First 3 Months
- Establish the Tier 2 support model
- Gain visibility and control of incoming tickets and support demand
- Build stakeholder relationships and understand the current environment
- Develop a vision for where you want to take the function
3-6 Months
- Begin implementing improvements and optimisations
- Introduce more structure, governance, and service improvements
- Deliver early wins for stakeholders and end users
6+ Months
- Demonstrate measurable improvements across support and service delivery
- Contribute to the HR systems roadmap and future direction
- Be recognised as a trusted partner across the business
